These Trader Joe’s chicken nuggets are a solid choice for a quick frozen meal for you or your kids. These don’t have the strongest flavor in the world, so if you’re used to the brand name chicken nuggets like Tyson or Banquet, you might be disappointed. These Trader Joe’s Drummellas (TJs official name for these) can be put in the oven or microwave. They have a nice thick breading on them. Because a lot of the super unhealthy ingredients are lacking compared to most chicken mcnuggets, don’t expect to be blown away by these. The chicken tastes ok, and the breading is pretty good, especially if you crisp them up in the oven. And remember, these are a nice comprise between healthy and still a little delicious………….

Chicken Nuggets at Trader Joe’s
Trader Joe’s has had a few different variations of chicken nuggets over the years, but these drummella shaped ones are among the healthiest. The all white meat chicken has no artificial flavors, and to be honest it can sometimes be a tad bland. If you put some Trader Joe’s BBQ sauce on the side, these will be perfect for dipping. My favorite is the Kansas City Style bbq sauce. Sometimes when I’m feeling extra hungry, I’ll make a little dipping bowl of bbq sauce and Trader Joe’s ranch dressing to dip my chicken nuggets in!
Does anyone love to eat these if your kids don’t finish them, and end up scarfing them right off the plate, hunched over the counter! The best part about making things like mac and cheese and chicken nuggets for your kids is that you don’t have to feel guilty that you’re too old to indulge a bit!…….
