This Trader Joe’s bbq sauce is really tasty, and a tad healthier take on traditional Kansas City style bbq sauces. While there is still a good mount of sugar in this bbq sauce, it has a lot less than most national brands and still provides a sweet and tangy smokiness that goes perfect for grilling. This is one of my go to bbq sauces, and I slather it on chicken, top my burgers with it, and toss my pulled pork in it. The fact that this is organic is a nice bonus that’s not very common for bbq sauces. It’s also thick enough to use for basting, dipping or as a sauce. I also really like the Trader Joe’s Carolina Gold bbq sauce. In general, vinegar based sauces are my favorite, but you can’t really go wrong with either sauce. …….…….

Trader Joe’s Kansas City BBQ Sauce
A good bbq chicken with this Kansas city style bbq sauce on it basically tastes like summer. Or if you make a burger and put some bacon, cheese and this sauce on it, you have am amazing bbq bacon cheese burger! What is everyone’s favorite protein to put this barbecue sauce on? I am sometimes tempted to mix this with something creamy to make a bbq ranch salad dressing, but I still haven’t tried it yet. Let me know your favorite Trader Joe’s bbq sauce, since it’s sometimes hard to keep up with different versions they have. I believe they had an old version of Kansas City style sauce but this one is a lot healthier than the original one. Anyways, peruse the barbecue sauce aisle and tell me what you find! If you can’t make it to TJs, give these items a shot…..
