Trader Joe’s Hotteok, Sweet Cinnamon Filled Pancakes

This Trader Joe’s hotteok is a version of traditional Korean hotteok and is exceptionally sweet, gooey and greasy. You can make this pack of four pancakes pretty much any way you heat stuff up, including the microwave, but I’d recommend frying them in a pan for the best texture and taste. I know people have made these in the air fryer too but because these are so gooey and greasy, you don’t necessarily need them to be made in the air fryer. You can add Nutella, cookie butter or ice cream to these Trader Joe’s pancakes if you’re feeling extra indulgent!………….

Trader Joe’s Sweet Cinnamon Filled Pancakes, Hotteok

Trader Joe’s hotteok is a new addition to the dessert frozen aisle at TJs for 2021, and I like these enough that I’m hoping they stick around as a permanent item. These Korean pancakes are a classic example of Trader Joe’s finding a unique item overseas and bringing a really good version of it to their stores. How does everyone like to cook these TJs pancakes? If anyone has a go to condiment they put on these, let us know!. And if you can’t make it out to TJs, give these items a try…..
