This Trader Joe’s garlic naan comes frozen, and tastes incredibly authentic and delicious. The garlic and coriander create a really nice flavor, combined with the unique taste from TJs naan actually being made in a tandoor oven in India. You can put this is in the oven for a few minutes to heat it up, or crisp it up on the stove top . I’ve even microwaved this, and you may lose some of the chewy texture of the bread, but the outstanding flavors remain. Frozen Indian foods have long been a strength of Trader Joes, and this garlic naan bread is no exception…….…….

Trader Joe’s Naan
Naan bread from Trader Joe’s comes in a few different varieties like Tandoori naan and Malabari Paratha naan. They are all delicious and have a great texture to them. At different times TJ’s has sold naan that is in the bakery section and not frozen, but it’s been awhile since I’ve tried those. What is everyone’s favorite Trader Joe’s naan bread flavor? I usually make a Trader Joe’s tikka masala meal and then heat up a piece of this garlic naan bread and use it to sop up all the amazing tikka masala sauce!
If anyone has any recipes or ideas to use this garlic naan, let me know! I did see that Trader Joe’s has a garlic naan pizza recipe on their website that I’ve linked below. I still haven’t tried making a pizza with naan bread since it doesn’t seem like something that would mix well texture wise. In any case, not only are the ingredients in TJs garlic naan bread simple and mostly healthy, but it’s still being sold for under $2. Here’s a few options if you can’t make it to TJs….
