Trader Joe’s Japanese Fried Rice

This Trader Joe’s Japanese fried rice is possibly the best frozen rice that TJs sells. It has an amazing texture that holds in sauces and flavors, and has just enough bites like edamame pieces throughout to give it a perfect balance. I usually just pop the Japanese fried rice bag in the microwave and then dump it into a bowl. Add soy sauce. Maybe even some yum yum sauce. And you have an incredibly delicious and filling meal. And if you are a vegan, this should be one of your go to meals. If you eat meat, you can add chicken or shrimp to this and it will legit taste like you bought this at a restaurant. Can you tell how many bags of this I’ve consumed over the last several years?! Grab a few of these and keep them in the freezer for when the craving hits………….

Japanese Fried Rice at Trader Joe’s

Trader Joe’s chicken fried rice is also really delicious, but I think I prefer the Japanese fried rice because of the texture of the rice. It sticks together just enough to give it a real restaurant like quality. Has anyone added super unique or amazing sauces to this fried rice? If you were forced to choose, would you make this Japanese fried rice and add your own chicken, or just make the TJs chicken fried rice? If they could make the Japanese fried rice with different proteins in it, those would probably be some of my go to meals that I would always have in the freezer. Basically you cant go wrong with fried rice in general, but the Trader Joe’s fried rice selections are especially good…..
