This Trader Joe’s toothpaste has a nice peppermint flavor and contains baking soda and fluoride. It sells for $2.49 in a six ounce tube, which is a pretty good value compared to other similar toothpastes like Tom’s of Maine. Tom’s toothpaste is still sold at Trader Joe’s for a tad more than this TJs brand. I don’t usually put much thought into my toothpaste, but I know you’re supposed to have baking soda in toothpaste if you want to keep your teeth super white, especially if you drink a lot of coffee or red wine! Looking at the ingredients of this compared to national brands like Crest or Colgate, there are a lot fewer things in this TJ’s toothpaste. Whether or not it’s better for you or does a better job, who really knows………….

Peppermint Toothpaste at Trader Joe’s
At any given time there are a few different TJs toothpastes sold in the health and beauty aisle. If you buy the TJs brand, there is peppermint and also the Trader Joe’s antiplaque toothpaste with fennel, propolis and myrrh. Keep in mind that one doesn’t contain fluoride like the peppermint one does. Both are all natural and come in six ounce tubes. What is everyone’s favorite type of toothepaste to use if you buy it at Trader Joe’s? I’ve only used Tom’s toothepaste a few times, but the taste of the peppermint TJ’s toothpaste seems pretty similar to the Tom’s peppermint toothpaste. Now if only there was a cheap Trader Joe’s floss you could buy. I sometimes miss the new products in this section since they usually don’t get a fancy display like a lot of snacks and treats do. Check out these other options if you can’t make it to TJs…
