Trader Joe’s Burrata, Cream Filled Cheese

This super rich and creamy Trader Joe’s burrata cheese comes like traditional burrata does, with two balls of mozzarella, filled with cream and sitting in water. When you cut them open they leak delicious and rich cream. It is a decadent and incredible tasting cheese creation. And for a price of under $5 this is a legitimate deal. This tastes like burrata you would have in a fancy restaurant with some prosciutto on the side. Drizzle some Trader Joe’s balsamic glaze over it or some dressing and the little white pillows of flavor will absorb everything. These definitely aren’t low calorie with 560 calories in the entire container, but they are worth every rich, creamy, cool bite. ………….

Burrata Cheese at Trader Joe’s

You can pair this TJs burrata with prosciutto and arugula flatbread or simply plop one of the balls on top of a salad. I like to put burrata on a butter lettuce salad and drizzle a little bit of Trader Joe’s Yuzu sauce on it. The citrusy and sweet combined with the buttery rich taste of the cream and cheese make a heavenly combo. What is everyone’es favorite recipe to pair this Trader Joe’s burrata with? Are there super fancy entrees or meals you make where you wait to buy this burrata? Obviously the cheese aisle at Trader Joe’s is one of my favorite sections in the store, and this may be among my top 3 or 4 cheeses. And yes, sometimes I just put a burrata on a plate, cut it open with a fork, and eat the whole thing in about 3 minutes. Now that’s living……
