Trader Joe’s Zucchini Noodles, Spiral Cut

These Trader Joe’s zucchini noodles are a good pasta substitute and have a nice slightly sweet neutral vegetable taste. They absorb sauces and liquids really well and are a really great gluten free and keto alternative to pasta. Keep in mind when you cook these you do it in a skillet and they’ll release a bunch of water but eventually after about 8 or 9 minutes they’ll be nice and al dente. Just like every other whole30 or keto friendly pasta alternative, don’t overcook these or they can become somewhat mushy and gross. There isn’t a ton of zucchini spirals in this box, but it gets the job done as an easy low carb side dish when you’re trying to eat super healthy…….…….

Zucchini Spirals at Trader Joe’s

There are a lot of different pasta alternative at Trader Joe’s, and I’d put these ones in somewhat of a category of their own since they are just made out of zucchinis and salt. The red lentil pasta and the black bean pasta can’t really be compared to these, but I do like these spirals as a perfect way to absorb delicious sauces without any carbs from real pasta. What is everyone’s favorite recipe or way to use these zucchini noodles? I’d love to hear if anybody has made their own zucchini noodles and how hard the process was? I’d imagine if you have a spiraler it can’t be too hard to make fresh zucchini spirals. Either way, Trader Joe’s zucchini noodles are an easy way to get some vegetables in your diet while pretending like you are eating some pasta!…..
