Trader Joe’s Baking Soda

Trader Joe’s baking soda is new for 2022 and is a great value at under a dollar for 16 ounces. It’s a nice addition to the TJs baking aisle to be able to get basically all the staples for making a homemade cake. Of course Trader Joe’s baking soda is also great for having in the fridge to get rid of bad odors. And as a nice bonus, I’ve found using baking soda to put out a grease fire on the grill in an emergency works amazingly well………….

Baking Soda at Trader Joe’s

Trader Joe’s baking soda just has the one ingredient, sodium bicarbonate. How has everyone found this compares to any other name brand baking sodas you’ve used? I’d imagine it’s all pretty much the same, so you may as well stock up at TJs to get a good value. If anyone has any really yummy cakes or other baking recipes they’ve used with Trader Joe’s ingredients, I would love to hear about them! And if you can’t make it out to TJs, give these items a try…..
