Trader Joe’s Tortillas, Flour

These Trader Joe’s flour tortillas are really good. I sometimes buy the handmade flour tortillas that are a tad more expensive, but they both get the job done. These heat up really easily in the microwave or crisped on the stove top, so you can make quesadillas, burritos, wraps or even homemade tortilla chips. I like to brush a little butter on the tortillas, and crisp it up on my stove top with a little oil. Then add different cheeses before adding another tortilla on top and flipping it over. I think quesadillas may be the best bang for your buck in terms of how easy they are to make and how delicious they taste. I am always trying to find the best cheese and condiment combo to put with my quesadillas and burritos, but there are so many choices at TJ’s that it can be overwhelming! Just make sure you have some kind of cheese around when you buy these………….

Trader Joe’s Flour Tortillas

I like to add sour cream, guacamole and Trader Joe’s salsa verde to my quesadillas like I’m having a meal at some chain Mexican restaurant. What does everyone usually make with these Trader Joe’s tortillas? I know that corn tortillas are sometimes considered more authentic, but I just like the taste of flour tortillas more. These kind of remind me of the flour tortillas at Chipotle, especially when you heat them up. I almost want to buy little foil wraps like they have so I can pretend I’m eating a burrito. My two go to meals with these tortillas are quesadillas and burritos. And some chips on the side of course!….
