Trader Joe’s Protein Powder

This Trader Joe’s protein powder is a neutral tasting way to get about 20 grams of protein per serving in your smoothies or other protein drink concoctions. The only ingredient in this is Organic pea protein isolate. It mixes really well in almond milk smoothies and doesn’t have a strong flavor like a lot of the vanilla flavored ones do. TJ’s has carried a version of this with vanilla flavoring, but this one barely has a taste at all. There are so many protein powders on the market right now, including whey protein powder and soy protein powder that it can hard to choose which one is best to buy. But you know when you get it at Trader Joe’s it will at least have as healthy if not healthier ingredients than most national brands………….

  • Organic pea protein powder is unsweetened
  • Net Weight: 16.5 oz
  • 20 grams of protein and 100 calories per serving

Trader Joe’s Pea Protein Powder

This protein powder has so many uses that it can be overwhelming to figure out how best to use it! You can of course use it in fruit smoothies, add it to oatmeal or pancakes, or just mix it with water. Although now that Trader Joe’s Protein Pancakes exist, you can just use that for your protein filled breakfast. What is everyone’s favorite way to use this pea protein powder? Are there really unique or creative smoothies or other recipes that people should know about? I’m curious to know if people use pea over soy or whey and what the deciding factors are. In any case, this Trader Joe’s dietary supplement is priced well at under $12, and will last you a good while in the 16.5 ounce container it comes in. Here’s a few other options if you can’t make it to TJs….
