Trader Joe’s Honey Walnut Shrimp

This Trader Joe’s honey walnut shrimp is a solid frozen entree option with a sweet and creamy taste combined with crunchy shrimp batter. You can taste a bit of citrus that goes really well with all the flavors, and because you can only make these honey walnut shrimp in the oven or on the stove top, they generally come out crunchy and delicious. It’s sort of a bummer you can’t microwave this, but with all the ingredients being packaged separately, it does make more sense to just pop this in the oven or fry it in some oil in a pan………….

Honey Walnut Shrimp at Trader Joe’s

There are a lot of good TJs frozen food options so these shrimp I sometimes forget about, but they really do a good job of replicating the restaurant style honey walnut shrimp entrees. It’s not perfect, and it can be a little bit of a challenge to get all the textures and temperatures right when you make this, but I like this dish a lot. The shrimp are bigger than a lot of other places you might find this dish too. How would everyone compare the taste of this to other Asian inspired TJs dishes, or honey walnut shrimp entrees they’ve had at restaurants?
