Trader Joe’s Shrimp Stir Fry, with Gourmet Pepper Seasoning

This Trader Joe’s shrimp stir fry with gourmet pepper seasoning is a pretty decent tasting frozen meal. The pepper seasoning goes really well with the shrimp and vegetables, and while the flavors may not be the most explosive, this is a pretty healthy dish without many calories. It can’t be made in the microwave, but can be cooked on the stove top in just a few minutes with some oil. If you’re craving something salty but relatively healthy, Trader Joes shrimp stir fry is a pretty solid frozen meal entree option………….

Shrimp Stir Fry at Trader Joe’s

This Trader Joe’s shrimp stir fry with gourmet pepper seasoning is one of many, many TJ’s frozen entree options, and I’d put it near the top for healthiness, if not for taste. What does everyone think of this TJs stir fry in terms of taste and ease of cooking? It’s always sort of a bummer when it can’t be microwaved, and I don’t think this dish benefits very much from being only able to be made on the stove top. If anyone has added fun or interesting spices, sauces or veggies to this to spice things up a bit, I’d love to hear your recipe! And if you can’t make it out to TJs, give these items a try…..

  1. Holy mole! This stuff is really good! I ate my serving with Tapatio hot sauce and was very happy with the taste.
Our side dishes were Trader Joe’s tangerine chicken, and my homemade Mexican rice. The fusion was perfect!
