These Trader Joe’s granola bars are fairly small, somewhat chewy and a decent snack if you are in a hurry or just super lazy. They aren’t the best tasting granola bars I’ve ever had, but they get the job done in a pinch and are healthier than a lot of the national brand chocolate chip granola bars. It’s nice that they made each bar exactly 100 calories, but the result is bars that are slightly smaller than you’re probably used to. It takes me a few bars to feel like I’ve eaten anything when I have these! But at 8 grams of sugar it’s not the worst thing in the world to eat in between meals. These are a decent way to get a little bit of fiber and calcium when you don’t really want to think about what to eat………….

Organic Chocolate Chip Chewy Granola Bars
Trader Joe’s carries a bunch of different granola bars, some healthier than these and some not. What is everyone’s favorite granola bar at Trader Joe’s? I don’t eat granola bars very much anymore but over the years at Tjs I’ve seen the Fruit and Nut Trail Mix bar, the Fiberful bar and the Sweet and Salty granola bars that were great. Sometimes I’ll have a container of yogurt in the morning, add some fruit to it, and then finish it off with a small granola bar. I think these are perfect for a mini treat after a meal so you feel like you had something sort of sweet without completely going crazy with the calories and sugar.
