This Trader Joe’s coconut body butter smells sort of like a pina colada, and is thick, creamy and doesn’t leave an overly oily residue. As for how well it moisturizes, it seems to do a pretty good job, but I think products like Aquaphor do a better job. But the point of this is to get a little bit of moisturizing effect and get a delicious smelling, soothing and relaxing body cream. The little circular container it comes in looks nice, and it is super easy to get a little glob out of it and make your arms, head, legs or anything else smell better and prevent dry and flaky skin. It’s nice to have a container of this around for whenever you are dry and want to smell like you just came from the beach!………….

Coconut Body Butter at Trader Joe’s
Even the name Trader Joe’s coconut body butter sounds indulgent. I always feel like I’ve come from a fancy spa after I put this on. I like to moisturize my hands and then rub some on my arms whenever I’ve been in the sun and am just feeling dry. I’ve had friends comment that I smell like a tropical island when they smell the faint scent of coconut on me. It really is a relaxing, moisturizing, spa like experience for less than a $6 price! It may not be the most effective moisturizer of all time, and occasionally can feel a teeny tiny bit greasy, but overall its relaxing, smooth and a nice treat for your skin. Both men and women will like this since the scent isn’t really strong either way. Here are a few other options if you can’t make it out to TJs…..
