This Trader Joe’s black bean dip is a good, solid dip if you are eating super healthy and just want something to dip some veggies into. Or you can add this to a salsa or something more flavorful to spice it up a bit. There are a bunch of healthy ingredients in this black bean dip including onion, tomatillo, apple cider vinegar, jalapeno peppers, serrano peppers, sea salt, dehydrated garlic and jalapeno peppers. You won’t be overwhelmed with flavor from this despite all the peppers and onion, but this is a great dip or base for vegans or others who love that solid bean flavor and smell………….

Black Bean Dip at Trader Joes
Because this Trader Joe’s black bean dip is so neutral tasting, it would go really well mixed in with things like TJs pineapple salsa. One way this dip differs from most others found in the refrigerated sections is there is virtually no sugar in this. I love the texture and flavor of black beans, but generally they always have to have something with them that is full of flavor. I love when they are stuffed into a burrito with cheese, salsa, sour cream and guacamole! Of course pretty much anything that is stuffed with that combination is going to taste great.
Let me know how everyone likes to use this Trader Joe’s black bean dip in recipes or in entrees and apps. The different peppers and garlic that are mixed with the beans go really well when mixed with other things like sour cream from the few recipes I’ve tried with this dip. Of course more sour cream is always the answer….
