Trader Joe’s Kalamata Olive Oil, Extra Virgin

This Trader Joe’s kalamata olive oil is rich, earthy and an excellent oilve oil for cooking, dipping bread in or making salad dressing with. I wouldn’t say it has an incredibly different taste than regular extra virgin olive oil, but it definitely has a unique richness to it, and is a fantastic deal at under $9 for 33.8 ounces. The finish on this kalamata olive oil is super smooth, and when I’ve mixed it with a bit of lemon juice it creates an incredibly deep taste. You can buy kalamata olive oils online, but I would trust this Trader Joe’s one for authenticity ahead of anything you’ll find on the internet. ………….

Extra Virgin Kalamata Olive Oil at Trader Joe’s

There has been a huge increase in Trader Joe’s olive and olive oil products in recent years, and I love it. From the Just a Handful line of olives to go to the various Trader Joe’s olive tapenade and olive oils, TJs has gone all in on this superfood. What is everyone’s favorite olive oil to use for when they are cooking? I’m never quite sure which oil is best for making salad dressing or for cooking, but I generally like to use avocado oil for the super subtle taste. If anyone has a go to oil for specific purposes, I’d love to hear about it! If you can’t make it out to TJs, give these products a shot…..

  1. I had confirmation yesterday (19 July 2023) at my local TJ’s that this has been discontinued. 🙁
We’ve been enjoying this delicious oil for decades. If someone who loved this has found a good replacement, I’d be grateful to hear about it.
