This Trader Joe’s Carolina Gold BBQ Sauce is a sweet, smoky and tangy sauce that is a really good version of mustard based Carolina style barbecue sauces. If you like the Carolina mustard based bbq sauces in general, you’ll definitely like this for basting chicken with, adding to burgers or even for dipping. The super sweet flavors of sugar, molasses, mustard and smoke are a really unique combo if you haven’t tried it before. I know a lot of people will say this may not be the most authentic Carolina bbq sauce, but for a bottled version at a grocery, this is as good as it gets. And the ingredients are generally healthier than a lot of other national brands version of this bbq sauce………….

Trader Joe’s Carolina Gold Barbecue Sauce
There are so many good Trader Joe’s BBQ sauces that I generally rotate the KC style bbq sauce and this Carolina sauce depending on what I’m cooking. What is everyone’s favorite Trader Joe’s bbq sauce? I really haven’t tasted any that I don’t like, although the Sriracha one I find myself buying probably the least of all the bottled sauces. If anyone makes their own Carolina gold bbq sauce recipe, I would love to know! And if you can’t make it out to TJs and aren’t a chef, give these products a shot…..
