This Trader Joe’s ginger shot is strong, pungent and definitely not watered down like some juice shots. Supposedly it can aid digestion, but it definitely doesn’t go down easy if you aren’t used to drinking this. There’s also a Mighty Turmeric shot that is a little more mild tasting and supposedly aides in anti-inflammatory properties. I have no idea if the health benefits actually hold up with these juice shots, but they don’t taste too bad, and they are priced way, way cheaper than places like Whole Foods. So for under $2 for a 2 ounce shot, you may as well give these a try and see if you like the taste and the effect it has on you………….

No Joke Ginger Shot at Trader Joe’s
The one thing you can always say about Trader Joe’s is they are on top of every health trend. And these juice shots came out several years ago right when juicing and odd shots like these were just starting to become popular. Whether or not these actually do anything is in question, but it’s always nice to know that TJs is on top of the latest fads. Has anyone found these ginger shots or turmeric shots beneficial health wise? And if you’ve had juice shots from other stores like Whole Foods or Sprouts, how would you compare the taste? Give these products a shot if you can’t make it to TJs……
