This Trader Joe’s string cheese has a really nice mozzarella flavor with a good firmness and is a perfect texture for stringing. You know when supposed string cheese doesn’t really go into strings when you try and peel some cheese off? I hate that. These have a great stringiness to them while still being super firm and tasty. I really like this regular string cheese, but the Trader Joe’s light string cheese is really good too, just with not quite as strong a flavor to it. There’s nothing better snack than string cheese when you’re in between meals and grazing in the refrigerator for something to tide you over until the next meal. And at 80 calories per stick, you may as well keep a pack around at all times!…..…….

String Cheese at Trader Joe’s
I love string cheese but nothing annoys me more than those mozzarella cheese sticks that are shaped like string cheese but are just blocks of cheese. Half the reason I eat string cheese is because it’s fun to eat it by the string! What is everyone’s favorite string cheese brand out there if they’ve tried a bunch? I’m also curious to know if people think there’s a big difference in flavor between the regular and light string cheeses? I don’t taste a massive difference, but I could be wrong since I don’t eat the light ones very often. If you can’t make it to TJs, give these products a shot…..

Trader Joe’s Goat Cheese review
The string cheese is great, but something has happened to the individual plastic packaging recently (winter 2021-22). The packages used to open easily, but recently when I try to pull them open, a little sliver of plastic tears off, and I have to use a knife to get the package completely open. Yes, a minor annoyance, but Every Day ?!
That’s interesting because I ran into that slightly with the last bag I bought. Just previous to that I had a similar but much more aggravating experience with several bags of Sargento brand from the grocery store!
