Trader Joe’s Vodka, Vodka of The Gods

This Trader Joe’s vodka is a really good value at under $13 for a totally drinkable budget liquor that is perfect for mixed drinks like bloody marys and vodka tonics. It’s not the smoothest or best tasting vodka in the world, since after all it is cheap and comes in a plastic bottle. But this is neutral tasting vodka that when mixed with seltzers or fruit juice or tonic tastes perfectly fine. And it’s hard finding any vodka at this price point that is this drinkable. So if you are looking for a super cheap way to make some bloody marys, grab the Trader Joe’s bloody mary mix and you’ll be good to go. Keep in mind TJs sells a few different vodkas now, including Tito’s Vodka and even Trader Joe’s Texas Vodka, which presumably is a riff on the explosion of Texas vodkas in the last few years…….…….

  • 40% alcohol by volume (80 proof)
  • Net Weight: 1.75 Liters

Vodka of The Gods at Trader Joe’s

If you want to sip a little vodka with a tiny bit of ice or water and maybe a splash of lime, this is not your vodka! But if you love mixed vodka drinks like a vodka gimlet or bloody mary, even a vodka tonic or screwdriver, this is the perfect budget vodka. What is everyone’s favorite drink recipe to use this Trader Joe’s Vodka of the Gods in? There are so many great seltzers and mixers now at TJs that it can be difficult deciding what to choose with which alcohol. If anyone has found the perfect combo of orange juice or seltzers with a splash or just plain old orange juice mixed with some Trader Joe’s booze, let me know! If there is a way better vodka at TJs you love, regardless of price, I’d love to hear about it!…..

Trader Joe’s Texas Vodka

  1. On my last three trips to Trader Joe’s to pick up my usual $100 worth of groceries and I found the shelves to be empty of my “go to” vodka, Vodka of the Gods. On my last visit I asked the store manager why they have been out for so long. This time the store manager actually looked the vodka up on the inventory computer and was shocked to see there was none on the truck and none in inventory. So, it is with great sadness that I tell you Vodka of the Gods will no longer be sold at Trader Joe’s. Now maybe this is a regional issue. All I know is when I asked about Alameda County.

  2. I bought it last night, June 24th, in Santa Barbara. They say that it was their 1st branded liquor & still their most popular. Steve B.
