Trader Joe’s taco seasoning is excellent. It has a little bit of a kick to it but if you use it with enough ground beef or whatever protein you like, it incorporates really nicely. It also has a lot less sugar than most name brand taco seasonings. And for $.79 you may as well always have a few of these in your pantry. Lately I’ve been making grass fed ground beef, mixing this taco seasoning into it and putting it all in the Trader Joe’s new jicama wraps. Really delicious. There’s something about the way those jicama wraps absorb the flavor of this seasoning that just works…..…….

Trader Joe’s Taco Seasoning Recipes
This TJ’s taco seasoning is definitely a little spicier than you’d think by looking at it, but it really does add a nice depth of flavor. Having sour cream on my tacos to cool it down a bit is generally how I like to eat it. Everyone let me know your favorite taco seasoning recipes and I will share the best of the bunch! Seeing this seasoning always brings me back to the old school hard shell taco kits. Looking at the ingredients of those name brand taco kits with the seasoning, you will be amazed how much more junk is in there. The beauty of Trader Joe’s is that generally they try and have manufacturers take out the bad, unnecessary ingredients before making products for them. Would it be wrong to put a tiny bit of this in some sour cream and stir it up. Then dip some Trader Joe’s elote seasoning chips in there!?! Be careful though because a little bit of taco mix goes a long way!…..
