Trader Joe’s Sourdough Bread, San Francisco

This Trader Joe’s sourdough bread has a nice sour taste to it with a yeasty bread flavor that is chewy and soft. It comes in a big pre cut loaf, and is San Francisco style according to the label. Sourdough bread is perfect for smearing some butter on, making a breakfast sandwich or having a really delicious ham and cheese. These San Francisco style loafs of sourdough sometimes go stale before the expiration date, apparently because Trader Joe’s doesn’t use artificial preservatives. This is a good tasting, value priced bread that is perfect for when you get sick of the same old breads. Kids may not love sourdough bread over their usual white bread, but adults will absolutely appreciate a good sandwich made with this unique tasting sourdough…..…….

Trader Joe’s San Francisco Sour Dough Bread

It’s really hard to mess up sourdough bread since it tastes so good, but I usually prefer to eat it when its soft and chewy. You can put some butter in a pan and make a grilled ham and cheese and make a great sandwich, but I usually wait to do that until the bread is on its last legs of freshness. What is everyone’s favorite recipe or way to use this San Francisco sourdough bread from Trader Joe’s? Keep in mind there’s also now a few different varieties of sourdough at TJs, including sprouted sourdough bread that may be a tad healthier. Just make sure you have fresh butter and a soft, chewy loaf and you’re good to go. I’ve never tried making French toast with sourdough bread. Is that a thing?….

  1. I love this sour dough bread, but I recently moved to NC and the store in Raleigh sells a different sour dough, not nearly as good. Any chances you’ll carry San Francisco sourdough there🙏🏻
Or perhaps you sell it in a different store in NC?
