This Trader Joe’s sea salt is easy to use with the built in grinder and gives a good flavor to pretty much anything you put it on. This is a pretty standard sea salt, which all give a bit more of a crunch that regular old salt. There are a few different Trader Joe’s salts, including Himalayan pink salt crystals, and plain old sea salt already ground up. I’m not sure if there is a huge difference in taste between the pre ground sea salt that sells for .99 cents, or this one in crystal form with the grinder. But using the grinder over meat, pasta or whatever dish I’m seasoning definitely makes me feel like I’m a professional chef or something. Or you can get super fancy with the Himalayan pink salt!………….

Sea Salt Crystals at Trader Joe’s
There are so many different amazing seasonings and spices now at Trader Joe’s that I sometimes forgot to buy just plain old salt. I like the sea salt taste, but sometimes just go with garlic powder or other things that already have salt added to them. What are the dishes or items that everyone adds salt to, regardless of how they cook it? I think adding salt to pasta makes a huge difference in the taste of it, and there are certain sauces like marinara or alfredo that absolutely need a good amount of salt to taste amazing. Whether or not it’s any healthier or tastes better to buy the pricier salts, I’m not entirely sure. Either way, you may well keep one of these sea salt grinders in your pantry.
