This Trader Joe’s puffins cereal has a good crunch to it and is made up of little hollow puffs of fairly neutral tasting corn and oat cereal. People seem to really like Barbara’s Puffins Cereal and it does seem a lot healthier than your standard cereal. But it does have about 78 grams of sugar in a box. It’s made in Canada which is always cool, and the little puffin bird on the baby blue cereal box may be reason enough to buy this! This is also loaded with fiber and lacks a lot of the crazy sugar and junk in typical cereal. This comes in a few different flavors other than original, like Peanut Butter and Cinnamon. And this is one of the few products at Trader Joe’s that has the original maker’s label on it….…….

Puffins Cereal at Trader Joe’s
I know a lot of people swear by Barbara’s Puffins cereal so I will definitely have to try all the flavors eventually. What is everyone’s favorite puffins cereal flavor? My friends really love the peanut butter one, and I’ve heard the honey rice one is really good too. I like to put some whole milk in the bowl with these, or maybe some 2 percent milk with a splash of half and half. It always gives cereals like this a nice rich flavor. This Trader Joe’s puffins cereal is pretty good at absorbing milk and cream, which is a good thing since it does not have a ton of flavor by itself. Add some fruits like banana and blueberries to this and you’ll have a pretty nutritious and tasty breakfast for yourself. If you can’t make it to TJs, these are a few good options…

“natural flavors” or “organic natural flavors” if they cannot even tell me what the flavors are, then I wouldn’t Eat it.
