This Trader Joe’s mixed nut butter is a combo of six different nuts ground into a very smooth and thin nut butter. It has a really nice taste to it, but the texture is definitely on the thin side. If you like the taste of almond butter, you’ll probably like this mixed nut butter even more. But if you are looking for the thickness and texture of most almond butters, this will disappoint you. It is definitely more of a super creamy and oily nut butter. That being said, it’s pretty cool that Trader Joe’s had this unique blend of nuts made for them into a mixed nut butter that isn’t easy to find elsewhere. I’d say this is perfect for dipping apples in, or putting on a fluffernutter sandwich. Ok, I may have poured some of this over banana slices too. It probably would slightly thicken up a smoothie also…….…….

Mixed Nut Butter at Trader Joe’s
The best thing about this TJs mixed nut butter is the depth of flavor that all the nuts combined have. The pecans and walnuts come through and you really can’t go wrong with using this in recipes or as a dip. What does everyone use this in? I wonder if there are any recipes that this goes perfectly in because of all the different nuts in it and the flavors they bring out. The price of around $6 may seem a tad steep, but when you consider the amount of nuts in this, and without any added sugar, just sea salt, this is a pretty decent value. For my everyday peanut butter, or nut butter, I usually use the Trader Joe’s almond butter, chunky version. But this is a nice way to mix it up once in awhile…..
