This Trader Joe’s margarita mix is an old classic, just sweet enough but not overly sugary. It of course goes well in margaritas with some good tequila and lime, or even in fun, fruity mixed drinks like this Mangorita recipe from Trader Joe’s. There is still a decent amount of sugar in here but compared to some national brands this has a lot less sugar and a more balanced taste. You’ll likely only be tasting this with a bunch of booze mixed in and limes and other goodies, so I wouldn’t worry too much about the details of the taste. I do like that this doesn’t really have any odd aftertaste like some mixers do, and the bottle is a fun island design as a bonus. And remember, the jalapeno limeade is only available in the summer usually, so stock up while you can!…..…….

Margarita Mix at Trader Joe’s
There are so many delicious drink recipes to make with this Trader Joe’s margarita mix, but the classic standard margarita remains atop the list. There is of course a few variations on that like the Cadillac Margarita that adds a touch of Grand marnier to liven it up a bit. So you can add tequila, lime and triple sec to a glass on the rocks, or put this in a blender for a island vibe blended margarita. Or you can use a blood orange margarita recipe with Trader Joe’s blood orange juice! But any way you do it, the tequila is probably more important than the rest. Buying this TJs margarita mix assures you you wont have a super sweet or gross tasting mix that ruins your good tequila! What is everyone’s favorite margarita recipe? Is there a go to tequila people use when they use this margarita mix? Check out these other options if you can’t make it to TJs…..
