These Trader Joe’s lemon bars have a really good fresh lemon flavor, mixed with a dense and flaky crust and topped with powdered sugar. They can easily be defrosted on the counter or in the refrigerator, but even straight from frozen these are delicious. A few years ago Trader Joe’s changed the recipe and packaging a tad, but these Trader Joe’s lemon bars remain one of my favorite TJs desserts. They aren’t very big since they are cut in small little squares, but they are filling and rich, and definitely could pass for homemade if you didn’t know any better………….

Lemon Bars at Trader Joe’s
The dessert section of Trader Joe’s has no shortage of amazing frozen treats, but I always have a package of these in the back of my freezer for when the craving hits. How would everyone compare these lemon bars to other TJs desserts from the frozen aisle? I don’t really notice much taste difference from the old version of these, but if anyone does, I’d be curious to know what has changed. And if you can’t make it out to TJs, give these items a try…..
