Trader Joe’s Japchae

This Trader Joe’s Japchae is a Korean dish made from sweet potato glass noodles and a bunch of vegetables. It’s super easy to heat up in the microwave, and although it is a tad greasy, it has a really good flavor to it. This is a really good dish to keep in the back of your freezer when you are too lazy to cook and want a yummy vegan snack. Japchae is a classic Korean dish, and while I can’t vouch for the authenticity of this Trader Joe’s japchae, it has a surprisingly good flavor and texture to it, even when you make it in the microwave!…..…….

Korean Japchae at Trader Joe’s

Trader Joe’s japchae has only been around for a little while, since about 2021, and doesn’t appear to be a permanent item. How would everyone compare this japchae to other ones you’ve had at restaurants or home cooked? If anyone has a yummy homemade japchae recipe, let us know! Or if you add delicious add-ins to this TJs version, I’d love to know what you put in it. And if you can’t make it out to TJs, give these items a try…..
