Trader Joe’s Gingerbread House, Thanksgiving Kit

This Trader Joe’s gingerbread house kit is a seasonal Thanksgiving item that comes with the gingerbread house pieces, cookie and candy figure decorations, icing and a pastry bag. All you need to add to it is egg whites and lemon juice to make the icing. This version of the TJ’s gingerbread house is made in Germany, and is fairly simple to put together. I really like the little edible people that are included as decorations, and the actual cookies that make up the house are pretty yummy too. This is one of my favorite Trader Joe’s Thanksgiving items because kids love to put this together and then eventually eat it before it goes completely stale! ………….

Gingerbread House Kit Trader Joe’s

Trader Joe’s gingerbread house kit always comes out in early November, and is a sure sign that Thanksgiving is right around the corner. How would everyone compare the taste and look of this gingerbread house to other ones they’ve made? If anyone has made homemade gingerbread houses without a kit like this, I’d love to hear the recipe! I like to add little figures and other decorations to this kit so it sort of is a semi homemade creation. And if you can’t make it out to TJs, give these items a try…..
