Trader Joe’s Gift Cards

Trader Joe’s gift cards come in a variety of designs like Happy Birthday and Cityscape, all of which look really nice and are a perfect gift for a TJs lover. One of the most common questions I get is ‘Does Trader Joe’s sell gift cards online?’, and sadly the answer is no. You have to go to the physical Trader Joe’s store to buy them at the register. Don’t buy them online from third party sellers or places that illegally mark them up. They cost nothing at Trader Joe’s of course other than the value you add to it! They are normally found right at the register when you check out, and the designs vary depending on what part of the country your Trader Joe’s store is in………….

  • Cards come in a bunch of different fun designs
  • You can check your gift card balance and buy and redeem them only in stores
  • Perfect for slipping into a Trader Joe’s card

Gift Cards at Trader Joe’s

Once every few days I get asked a question about buying Trader Joe’s gift cards online and checking the balance online. As usual, TJs wants to encourage people to come into the store and check out their products, so you have to go into the store to buy, redeem or check your gift card balance. Plus, its a fun way to see what new Trader Joe’s gift card designs they have. And remember, because TJs doesn’t sell any products online themselves, it makes sense to go in to buy a gift card anyways. And if you can’t make it out to Trader Joes, give these items a try…..

  1. I am a big proponent of Trader Joes, but not having an egift card is awful. My granddaughter lives in LA and I live in SC. This time of year, it is really hard to get to the stores. Shame on you, Trader Joes for not having egift cards.

  2. I recently purchased a $100 gift card in person for a Christmas gift.
I put the card in the mail and to date, it has not been delivered. I am pleading the case for e-gift cards.

  3. I live an hour away from a Trader Joes and thats if I hit no traffic, but my sister in Santa Cruz loves them as a gift– unfortunately we can’t buy them because they don’t have a store less than a tank of gas away.

  4. Was gifted a Trader Joes gift card. When I tried using it in the store, I was told the card was inactive. Also, the security code on the back of the card was not valid.
