This Trader Joe’s Chai Tea Latte mix is sweet and a little spicy, with a nice smooth feel when you make hot or cold chai tea lattes with it. One of the most common questions I get is does chai tea have caffeine? This does have a decent amount of caffeine since it’s made with black tea. The mix is technically called Spicy Chai Latte mix, and it provides a nice comforting holiday taste. It’s super easy to make by just boiling water and stirring in the mix or adding cold water to it and stirring. Trader Joe’s Chai Tea Latte Mix
There are a few different variations of Trader Joe’s chai tea now, including the Spiced Chai Black Tea Concentrate. But I love this classic chai tea latte mix the best, and it’s been around so long now that it has actually has changed container designs at least once. I always know a TJs item is popular when its gone through different variations of package design because its so dang old! Anyways, what is everyone favorite recipe or way to make chai tea lattes with this mix? I prefer it hot but sometimes in summer I am tempted to make a cold chai tea latte. I just always think of holiday times with this, and that calls for a hot drink! I’m curious to know if anyone has ever made their own chai tea mix and how they would compare this taste to places like Starbucks…..
