Trader Joe’s Banana Spread, Organic Fruit Spread

This Trader Joe’s Banana spread is one of a growing number of Trader Joe’s fruit spreads and is sweet, tastes like real banana and is good for putting on toast, putting a dollop on ice cream or maybe even in some smoothies or baking recipes. The consistency of this is similar to the Trader Joe’s watermelon spread so despite it looking sort of like baby food, it doesn’t have close to the same consistency. The number of fruit spreads, dried fruit, and other ways that TJs has managed to package fruit is never ending, and if you like sweet banana flavor, I think this will be a winner. Whether or not it sticks around for good is hard to say, so grab one soon if it sounds good to you!…..…….

Trader Joe’s Fruit Spread, Organic Banana

This Trader Joe’s fruit spread is an interesting creation that basically tastes like gooey sweet bananas. I was thinking this could be better if it was flavored as more of a bananas foster type of jar with cinnamon and butter, but if you like bananas this could be perfect for adding to recipes. How would anyone that has tried this compare the taste and texture to the watermelon spread, lemon curd or any other Trader Joe’s fruit spread like items?! I’m not sure I would buy this regularly but it seems like an easy way to add a banana flavor to things like smoothies or baked goods. And if you can’t make it out to TJs, give these items a try…..
