Trader Joe’s Lemon Curd, Imported from England

This Trader Joe’s lemon curd is sweet, lemony and a delicious versatile treat imported from England. It goes really well mixed in Greek yogurt, spread on bagel or muffins or as a filling for pastries. It has an amazingly sweet but tart lemon taste to it that is super addictive. I may occasionally eat it right out of the little glass jar with a spoon. Or I’ll take a spoonful of it and then a spoonful of Trader Joe’s french vanilla ice cream and mix the two together. I didn’t really know what to expect from something called lemon curd the first time I saw this, but its definitely a sweet, fruity spread that is impossible not to like. Well, maybe if you don’t like lemons this wouldn’t be your favorite thing………….

Imported English Authentic Lemon Curd at Trader Joe’s

This is one of my favorite sweet spreads at Trader Joe’s right up there with cookie butter and fig jam. What recipes does everyone like to use this sweet lemony spread in? I’m curious to know if anyone has used this in different baking or pastry creations and what types of flavors it goes with? I feel like this Trader Joe’s lemon curd would go well with just about anything, but I bet mixing it with things like mascarpone or other cheeses would be an amazing combo. But if you can’t think of anything to use it with, just get a spoon and go to town! And you’re having fruit so tell yourself it’s healthy….

  1. King Arthur flour website has a recipe for a lemon braid bread that is wonderful, using Trader Joe’s lemon curd. My only problem is figuring out how to get the last of the lemon curd out of the top corners of the square jar it comes in
