These Trader Joe’s ahi tuna steaks have been sold for a number of years at TJs, and remain a solid value at under $9 per pound. They have a nice flavor to them, and a good firm, steak like texture to them when cooked. These Trader Joe’s wild caught ahi tuna steaks generally come in a vacuum sealed pack of two small filets. And like nearly all fish, make sure not to overcook these or they can quickly be tough to eat…..…….

Trader Joe’s Ahi Tuna Steaks
Trader Joe’s ahi tuna steaks have such a unique firmness to them compared to other types of fish, which is a nice change of pace while still being super healthy. How does everyone like to make these tuna steaks? If anyone has a really good recipe, or even a sauce or marinade you use with these, let us know! These ahi tuna steaks are among my favorite pieces of fish sold at Trader Joes. Just make sure to give them enough time to defrost them so you can easily cook them evenly and all the way through. And if you can’t make it out to TJs, give these items a try…..
– Safe Catch Yellowfin Tuna
– Ahi Tuna Poke Cubes
Price: $8.99/lb
