Trader Joe’s Asian Rice Crackers

These Trader Joe’s Asian rice crackers are gluten free, crunchy and have a great umami flavor to them. These are called senbei in Japan and are a traditional snack. The fact that these are made from rice and peas and are totally gluten free is amazing considering how delicious the salty umami flavor is. Senbei is a traditional Japanese snack, and this take on it from Trader Joe’s is made in Thailand. Whether you call it senbei, Asian rice crackers or just a salty, crunchy rice cracker mix, this is one of my favorite healthy snacks at Trader Joe’s. It may not have the crazy strong taste of some other unhealthy Trader Joe’s snacks, but the texture and taste of the spicy wasabi peas mixed with the crunchy rice crackers is definitely worth giving a try!………….
