Trader Joe’s coconut oil has long been a great value. TJ’s has several different variations but the $4.99 Trader Joe’s coconut oil price remains one of the best buys in the store. Organic and triple filtered, this coconut oil is extremely useful for cooking. It is nutrient dense and is a really healthy alternative to other cooking oils that contain a ton of other junk. I recently saw that they now sell Trader Joe’s coconut oil packets which seems like an amazingly useful creation. Especially if you don’t cook a lot or just need it for something small. Of course other uses like moisturizer and in your hair, etc remain the main reason why I think this is such a popular product……….

Trader Joe’s Organic Coconut Oil
This organic coconut oil is one of those products where you see it in the wild at a different grocery store and you think there must be a mistake. How could it be so much more expensive at places like Whole Foods or other chains? It reminds me when I first compared prices of identical items at Costco or Aldi to local chain groceries. Sometimes making the special trip to Trader Joe’s is well worth it.
I would love to know how everyone mainly uses this oil? Am I missing one of the best ways to get your money’s worth out of the big 16 oz jar?! I know some people I know slather it on themselves and it helps their skin. I know some people make their eggs with it. Not too many products you can say that for, eh? Can anyone tell me if you can use this coconut oil in place of vegetable for cooking?
I discovered small particular matter in the oil.. then I ran the coconut oil thru a set of filters and discovered a teaspoon of debris from one jar of Trader Joe’s filtered oil.
