Trader Joe’s Everything But the Bagel Seasoning

The classic Trader Joe’s everything but the bagel seasoning remains an all-time favorite. It’s a simple mix that works perfectly in so many recipes and on so many dishes. My go to uses for it are still sprinkling it over my fried eggs while they cook and putting it over my bacon before putting it in the oven. In the last few years other stores like Walmart and even generic grocery brands have replicated this TJ’s fave. And now with everything but the bagel dip and who knows what else, it’s hard to avoid. That is a good thing since the sesame seeds, salt, garlic, onion and poppy seeds are perfect together……….

  • Sea salt, garlic and onion style spice
  • Net Weight: 2.3 oz
  • Great on eggs, dips and bacon(!)

Trader Joe’s Everything But the Bagel Seasoning

The everything but the bagel sesame flavor has been around so long now that I sometimes struggle to come up with new ways to use it. I’m guessing eventually the hotness of it will fade, but until then I always expect to walk into Trader Joe’s and see crazy new creations with it. Everything but the bagel funfetti cake? Everything but the bagel gnocchi? Who knows what’s next. I am always conflicted when I eat an everything bagel with cream cheese whether or not to add the seasoning on it or if that is overkill. These are the critical decisions I am forced to make many days! Tell me your most absurd idea for adding everything but the bagel to. There has to be a lot of products that Trader Joe’s has tested adding this to and decided against. I can only imagine the rejected pile of bizarre creations. I’m not holding my breath for Trader Joe’s everything but the bagel hand sanitizer.
