Trader Joe’s Takis, Rolled Corn Tortilla Chips

These Trader Joe’s takis are chili and lime flavored chips that are TJs version of the popular takis rolled corn snack. These are not quite as hot as the actual Takis, but are a pretty good dupe of the real thing. The ingredients are a bit healthier, the lime taste stands out a little more, but overall these are a really good snack. Even if you’ve never had taki fuegos or other similar chips, these are a really good crunchy option with a strong flavor…….…….

Chili and Lime Flavored Rolled Corn Tortilla Chips, Takis

Trader Joe’s takis version are really flavorful and delicious, but I think people that are die hard fans of actual takis will probably not like these as much. How would everyone compare these purple bagged copycats of the legitimate takis? I honestly like both versions a lot, but I will say that the Trader Joe’s version is definitely a little healthier, which might make me reach for these if I’m craving that hot, chili lime flavor. In terms of various Trader Joe’s chips, I would put these near the top for flavor and texture, especially for people who love spiciness. Pair these with a cool dip and you can eat more than you think in one sitting! And if you can’t make it out to TJs, give these items a try…..
