Trader Joe’s Chili Lime Seasoning

This Trader Joe’s Chili Lime Seasoning is a really fresh and strong tasting seasoning that I’ve been putting on chicken, in margaritas and on salads for an extra kick. Interestingly, Trader Joe’s Chili Lime Burgers are also available, but I think this seasoning has a really nice flavor profile, sort of replicating other seasonings like Tajin. Put this on chips to make chili lime chips with just the right amount of salt and heat. The bottle says that you can sprinkle it on jicama, pineapple or mango, which all sound delicious but I haven’t tried yet! I think you might be able to find this at other groceries now, or at least a knock off version, but I remember when I first saw the bottle I was super intrigued. …….

  • This seasoning has just a handful of ingredients like salt, chili pepper, red pepper and lime juice powder
  • The perfect combo of ‘salt and heat’
  • Comes in a 2.9 oz fun looking jar

Trader Joe’s Chili Lime Seasoning Blend

TJ’s Chili Lime Seasoning is a staple of my pantry, and while sometimes things can be too spicy or hot for me, this strikes a really good balance. I think an easy way to save some money would be instead of buying the Chili Lime Chicken Burgers that come in the frozen section, you can buy ground chicken, and add this chili lime seasoning blend to the meat yourself. While I love the chili lime chicken burgers that TJ’s has frozen, this blend actually has a better and more powerful flavor than the one in the chili lime chicken burgers. But either way, you can’t go wrong with the chili lime flavor that Trader Joe’s has. Now if I can only perfect my homemade chili lime seasoning chips to go with my burger! Check out these options if you can’t make it out to TJs….

  1. This stuff is *the* best! I use it on jicama, and I like it better than Tajin. I had an old shaker of Tajin that must have been 6 years old..had purchased it back when…to rim my Tecate beer class with lime juice and then dipped in Tajin. Now, this salted chili-lime is far, far, better! I also bought my first from Amazon, but they overcharge about $5 compared to the Trader Joes store. I usually buy 3 bottles at a time. Delish!
