Trader Joe’s Pepper Jelly, Hot and Sweet

This Trader Joe’s pepper jelly is hot, sweet and a super unique tasting sauce or condiment. It has a mild heat to it with a slight sweetness, and is good for dipping things like egg rolls or other deep fried dishes. The heat and sweetness pairs really well with greasy foods and isn’t overwhelming when spread on sandwiches like grilled cheese. I tried the Trader Joe’s recipe that calls for this on grilled cheese, and it’s actually really good. You can also mix this with cream cheese for a kicked up bagel spread. One of the best ways I’ve found to use this Trader Joe’s pepper jelly is as a topping for cheeseburgers. The heat and sweet mix with the burger juice and cheese to form an incredible tasting flavor goo!….…….

Hot and Sweet Pepper Jelly at Trader Joe’s

I haven’t seen too many groceries that carry sweet and hot jelly, especially for this cheap of a price at $2.49. What is everyone’s favorite recipe or way to use this Trader Joe’s jelly? This is one of many super unique Trader Joe’s sauces and condiments that TJs had introduced in the last few years. I feel like there has been more and more canned condiments with funky combinations and flavors in the last few years. Although most of them appear to be ethnic foods that come from other cultures. This combo is seemingly uniquely American, and it’s a nice way to mix up things when you get bored with the same old grilled cheese, cream cheese or dips. Check out a few other options if you can’t make it out to TJs……

    1. I think they discontinued it because I haven’t been able to find any for months! It’s the secret ingredient I use in my sweet and sour sauce I make 🙁

        1. I was told it will be available in November and December. I guess I’ll have to buy a case or two. I wish they would keep it in stock year round.
