Trader Joe’s Watermelon Jerky, Dehydrated Watermelon

This Trader Joe’s dehydrated watermelon jerky tastes like dried up watermelon, isn’t overly sweet and comes in a 2 ounce package for under $3. According to the bottom of the package, it takes 6 1/4 pounds of watermelons to make this amount of watermelon jerky. There’s no added sugar in this dehydrated watermelon so don’t expect a crazy sweet tasting jerky. It basically just tastes like you dried up a bunch of watermelon. It plumps up slightly in your mouth when you start to chew it, but it basically is just a piece of dried fruit. I haven’t seen watermelon jerky, or really dehydrated watermelon since it’s not technically jerky in many stores, so you may as well try this if you haven’t before! ………….

Dehydrated Watermelon Jerky at Trader Joe’s

Trader Joe’s is great about being ahead of the curve on interesting products and foods, so it’s cool that this dehydrated watermelon is available, I just don’t love it enough to buy again probably. If you’re going to eat watermelon, I’d just go for the real thing, with the moist deliciousness that it has. Does everyone like this watermelon jerky, or would you rather just have other dried fruit like the Trader Joe’s dried mango that tastes amazing? I think the dried baby bananas and the Just Mango are my two favorite Trader Joe’s dried fruits. And if you can’t make it out to a TJs, check out these items…..
