Trader Joe’s Carnitas, Roasted Pork

This Trader Joe’s carnitas is Mexican style roasted pork that is fully cooked, ready to eat and is the perfect way to add good tasting protein to a meal. You can microwave this TJs carnitas to heat them up, put them in a pot or pan with some bbq sauce or any other sauces you want. It’s not the best tasting carnitas I’ve ever tasted, but for a super easy way to have some roasted pork in a salad, with chili or any other dish, this fits the bill………….

Mexican Style Roasted Pork Carnitas at Trader Joe’s

Trader Joe’s carnitas is one of the better options for fully cooked proteins at the store. How does everyone like to prepare this when they add it to meals? If anyone has a semi homemade recipe that uses this roasted pork carnitas in a fun or creative way, I’d love to hear about it! It’s not that easy to make roasted pork carnitas from scratch, so if you’re craving a carnitas dish, I would definitely keep one of these sealed packages in the refrigerator. You could even freeze it to use later since it’s already cooked so heating it up from frozen isn’t as big a deal. And if you can’t make it out to TJs, give these items a try…..
