Trader Joe’s Yellow Curry Sauce, Thai Style

This Trader Joe’s Yellow Curry Sauce has a nice sweet coconut, onion and garlic taste to it, with a thick and pleasant texture. It is a little too sweet for what I generally like, with 30 grams of sugar in the bottle, but still gets the job done. You’ll find better, more unique tasting yellow curry sauce from your local Thai Restaurant, but at a $2.99 price this isn’t a bad value. You can pour this over chicken or tofu or any protein you like for a nice quick and easy meal. I think kids may even give this a shot since the sugar makes it an especially sweet sauce…….…….

Trader Joe’s Yellow Curry Recipe

This Trader Joe’s Thai style yellow curry sauce goes well in just about any Thai dish. The easiest recipe is to just heat it up mixed with chicken and maybe serve it with a Thai salad. What are everyone’s favorite way to use this sauce? I don’t cook a lot of Thai food at home since there are so many good Thai restaurants out there, but I’d love to know if anyone has some go to Thai recipes? TJ’s has a bunch of different types of curry sauce, and I would put this somewhere in the middle in terms of flavor and overall taste. Is there a much better Trader Joe’s curry sauce that I’m missing out on? Curry is of course used in several different countries as a sauce, so it may just depend on what style you are feeling like on any given day! So many curry sauces to choose from, so little time. And that’s a good problem to have…..
