Trader Joe’s Waffle Fries, Seasoned

These Trader Joe’s waffle fries are a new frozen item for 2022, and have a nice paprika seasoning to them that isn’t too salty tasting. They can be made in the oven or the air fryer and the taste is pretty solid, but like a lot of waffle cut fries, they are tough to make super crispy. I like having seasoned waffle cut fries with melted cheese over them since the surface area of the fries is perfect for oooey gooey melted cheese! Trader Joe’s waffle fries are a solid addition to the TJs frozen items aisle………….

Trader Joe’s Waffle Cut Fries

Trader Joe’s waffle fries join regular old fries, and Trader Joe’s sweet potato fries among frozen potato appetizers. I happen to love the smell and taste of the sweet potato fries, but these are a nice addition. How does everyone like to spice these Trader Joes seasoned waffle cut fries up?! I think adding maybe some Ajika seasoning or the cheese seasoning would make these even better. It seems like most people will opt to make these in the air fryer since its better for texture and cuts down on the cooking time (unless of course you have a legit deep fryer). I still would rather have the Trader Joe’s hash browns if I’m opting for a not so healthy frozen snack. And if you can’t make it out to TJs, give these items a try…..
