Trader Joe’s Vegan Butter, Butter Alternative

This Trader Joe’s vegan butter spread is a nice butter alternative that mostly looks and tastes like margarine. This is a solid alternative to regular margarine or butter, has a nice deep color to it, and spread easily on bagels or toast. Miyoko’s vegan butter has been the Trader Joe’s vegan butter of choice up until this recent TJ product new in late 2021 or early 2022. ………….

Spreadable Vegan Butter at Trader Joe’s

Trader Joe’s vegan butter is a nice addition to the line of Trader Joe’s branded vegan dairy products, with a good taste and texture to it. Has anyone used this vegan butter in any yummy vegan recipes or dishes? I’m curious how people would compare this version to the Miyoko’s vegan butter that TJ’s has sold in the past. And if you can’t make it out to TJs, give these items a try…..

  1. Is this TJ Vegan Buttery Spread good to use in baking?

I’m wanting to make a cardamom shortbread recipe, with GF flour. I’ve made the recipe with regular flour and butter, and love them. (Note: recipe has no leavening or eggs.)

Thanks for any tips or advice for using this product for my cookie recipe.
