This Trader Joe’s tofurky has a nice basil and sun dried tomato taste to it, is completely vegan, and comes fully cooked. Each sausage has 24 grams of protein in it, and is super easy to heat up. It has a good firm consistency to it that makes it easy to cut up or slice into different vegan recipes or meals. Trader Joe’s has carried a few different vegan sausageless links over the past few years, including ones with their own TJs name on it. These ones are made by and come with the Tofurky brand label, and are found in the refrigerated section next to the other meat alternatives. Tofurky Italian Sausage at Trader Joe’s
Trader Joe’s does a great job having a bunch of different meat alternatives and vegan protein options. There’s Trader Joe’s vegan roasts, meatless vegan burgers and even meatless ground beef. What is everyone’a favorite vegan meat alternative at Trader Joe’s when you need a protein fix without eating animal products? I’d love to hear about some super creative or unique vegan recipes that people use with all the different TJs sauces and proteins. One nice thing about the Trader Joe’s vegan items is they all tend to have a good texture to them. And the taste is generally far better than a lot of the national vegan brands. If you can’t make it to TJs, give these items a shot….

Seems Trader Joe’s has discontinued selling Tofurky Italian Sausages. This is very disappointing! Great product that you have stocked for years is now gone from the shelves. Bring it back!!!
By the way, I bought and tried a TJ branded meatless hotdog as a substitute that was terrible!! Looked bad and tasted even worse. Taking it back for a refund later today.

Agree wholeheartedly with you. Third time TJ has abruptly stopped an item I loved. I wish that they would at least post notices telling us they were closing out an item. Still miss the packaged corn soup, the pesto sauce and now the Tofurky on which I relied for my protein. The sausage-less sausage is terrible. I’ll never buy it again. Less reason to shop there.
Unbelievably bummed about this. Why did you stop selling this??? Now I have to go to spouts where it’s twice as much. Which means I’m shopping at Trader Joe’s less, for sure. Sucks
