Trader Joe’s Sriracha Tofu, Baked Ready to Eat

This Trader Joe’s Sriracha Tofu is marinated in Sriracha sauce and baked, so it is ready to eat either hot or cold. It doesn’t have a super strong sriracha flavor to it, and is pretty much in line with the texture of other Trader Joe’s baked tofus. If you are vegan and are sick of the regular old Trader Joe’s tofus, then this will be a good way to mix it up. The taste of sriracha seems like people either love it or hate it, but because this baked tofu isn’t that strong tasting, you could give this a shot whether or not you absolutely love sriracha. The package contains two pieces of tofu and sells for a good price at under $4. It’s made of soybeans of course………….

Sriracha Tofu at Trader Joe’s

The package says you can eat it hot or cold, and it really depends what you’re putting it on. It goes great in a cold salad with a little but of spicy dressing drizzled over it. You can also cube it and heat it up so the flavors come out a bit more and the texture changes. What is everyone’s favorite recipe to use with this tofu? I wonder if people generally eat this right out of the package cold or they heat it up to put into a recipe? I prefer the sriracha tofu cold and cubed, but I’d love to know if the reheated tofu goes surprisingly well in spicy or Asian recipes. Either way, this is a good way to mix it up a bit. And for $3.69, it’s hard to beat the value and uniqueness of this tofu…..

Price: $3.69
