Trader Joe’s Soy Cheese, Lactose Free

This Trader Joe’s soy cheese is a lactose free cheese alternative that has an ok taste to it, but is not vegan and doesn’t really taste or feel much like real cheese. I know a lot of people are disappointed to find out that this is made with casein, an animal product, so it doesn’t qualify as vegan. Lactose free soy cheese can be really difficult to make it taste like an edible product, and this Trader Joe’s soy cheese isn’t really an outlier. That being said, if you are craving cheese, and are lactose intolerant, you may as well give this a shot………….

Trader Joe’s Lactose Free Soy Cheese

TJs soy cheese also comes in a soy cheese slices form, one of a few different cheese and dairy alternatives at TJs. What does everyone think of this TJs cheese blend? Is the fact that it’s not vegan cheese a deal breaker for this? Trader Joe’s consistently introduces products for people that can’t eat all different types of foods, but I’ve found that a lot of the food alternatives can’t really be made to taste good, no matter the store you buy them. I think in some cases TJs just carries the best of the so so genre of alternative products. This cheese blend is one of those so so items. In any case, if you can’t make it out to TJs in person, give these items a shot…..
