Trader Joe’s sour cream is a good value at under $3, and has a nice tang with a creamy texture. There is a few different varieties of TJs sour cream, including organic sour cream and of course sour cream spinach dip. But you can make your own dip with this sour cream by adding Trader Joe’s everything but the bagel seasoning. They really go perfectly together and it tastes like a restaurant quality dip. Occasionally I’ve made this dip with creme fraiche, but that can get expensive. The Trader Joe’s sour cream spinach dip is delicious though, and is perfect with pita chips for dipping! The elote corn dippers are also really good with a sour cream dip………….

Sour Cream at Trader Joe’s
There are so many recipes to make with sour cream that it’s hard to keep track. What is everyone’s favorite recipe to use this sour cream in? I know some people even make sour cream based cakes. But I’d love to know what your go to dips or sauces are for sour cream. I don’t think anything quite absorbs spices and flavors like sour cream does. In general dairy products at Trader Joe’s are a good value, but you do have to make sure the dates are far enough out to finish the container. A few times I bought milk or sour cream that expired in a few days without realizing it at the store. They will of course take any returns no questions asked. I now need to peruse the spices aisle at TJs to see if there are any new ones that would go well with this sour cream or creme fraiche. …..
